MusiComposer.com is a free music site backed by "MusiComposer, The Composing Partners' Salon de Musique" french organization Our organization brings together creative composers of classical and contemporary music. It has a double objective: To share and disseminate knowledge, skills and musical references and widen cultural contexts, To inform the general public about the musical and multimedia works of composers and members of our association by any means - including through Internet.

MusiComposer association is headed by an elected board with President Jean-Louis Foucart, founder and webmaster of the sites; Emilie Aulanje, Jean-Armand Moroni, Vincent Poulain, Yves Rinaldi are volunteer directors. Together, they help and participate in MusicComposer activities, sites (Salon de Musique website) and forums promotion. with assistance by active members and contributors . They are all grateful!

MusiComposer.fr is a non-commercial site - in English and French - which provides genuine symphonic music, chamber music, jazz, instrumental music, operas or song by listening and free download. These productions are available in our forums, either in Composing partners forums or members forums, all listed on the same page. Forums are accessible to most visitors read, but downloads and wording of some messages are available only to members.

The entry in the Salon de Musique is subject to conditions (see the Rules & Regulations that governs sites operation).
MusiComposer Rules & Regulations specify MusiComposer association operating conditions and in particular composers and partners recruitment conditions as well as composing contests organization opened to all registered members.

Composition, harmony, orchestration, musicology are obviously our education goal with musical theory forums. Important musicological documentation is available to members (in french language for the moment) in the MusiComposer Multimedia Library site.

Compose, compete

Composers are invited to present their musical pieces in Musicomposer forums.
Please, note that forums.are divided in two areas : The first one is devoted to Composing partners pieces, but all members are invited to give a courteous but critical point of view on their works (by answering posted messages) as on the whole musical pieces in forums.

MusiComposer members have their own forum to present their works (audio mp3 files and pdf score - if possible) in the second area.
By presenting a piece complying with the specifications of the annual Contest, any member may have his work selected by the jury so that he could participate to the final competition. Winners works are usually played by international interpreters in public concerts organized by the MusiComposer association .

Our Radio blog, beside, broadcasts excerpts from selected works from this site, but MusiComposer members can also legaly download for free MP3 files, textual documents and scores (pdf files) presented in the forums ...

Music, a matter of heart ... and head
Berlioz wrote music is both a feeling and a science.
Man has indeed two radically different but complementary knowledge tools to understand the world around, especially the musical world : rational and emotional intelligences.
Rational / emotional dichotomy corresponds roughly to distinction between head and heart. It is of course suitable that these two intelligences work in perfect harmony, combining theways to lead us in the music world. Child, non-educated adult will be listening music spontaneously, merely with his heart, his emotional intelligence. Music education will enable him to develop sound intelligence, listening with his head also, to understand how works the music system and appreciate more complex pieces of music, which adress both heart and head.

MusiComposer site members have access to forums for musical analysis and theory. MusiComposer association's contributors also have opportunity to participate in presentation forums (adressing musicians, CD demo, concert ads, etc.).
